Serve at Vine & Branches
Service is more than an act of kindness; it's a chance to live out our calling to love and serve as Jesus did. We rely on volunteers (like you!) to help us fulfill our mission: we desire to see everyone rooted in Christ, growing together in His Word, and showing Him to the world.
Worship Team
We invite you to be a part of the worship service experience during our 10:30AM Sunday services. Volunteers rotate Sundays they are serving; serve as little or as much as you would like!
Altar Guild Supervisor
Prepare the worship space by supervising duties like caring for and pressing vestments and linens as needed, trimming and replacing candles, polishing vessels, preparing communion elements, and ensuring the sanctuary is clean and reverent for services. This role is crucial for making sure all physical elements are in order to reflect the beauty of holiness during worship
Acolyte
This is a children’s role. Process into the sanctuary on Sunday mornings to light the candles for worship. Children volunteers must be at least 6 years of age.
Announcements
Keep the congregation in the loop by reading announcements on Sundays at the start of service.
Audio Visual Team
If technology is your jam, opportunities exist for sound, lighting, recording and more. We’re willing to train those who are interested.
Children’s Message Leader
Lead the children’s message once every two or three months. You will receive guidance on scripture and can seek support from Pastor Chris as needed during lesson preparation.
Communion Distributor
Assist the Pastor with distributing The Lord’s Supper
Greeter
Are you a joyful morning person? Come greet visitors and members as they arrive for Sunday Service! Arrive by 10:15AM, hold the door for folks, and welcome them in.
Hospitality Team
Help create the atmosphere for Sunday morning services and special events such as baptisms and installations. We are especially in need of a team that can lend a hand with our special occasions and events. Help Vine & Branches make every gathering a memorable one!
Musician
Use your gifts to help lead the congregation in worship.
Prayers of the People Leader
Lead/ read the prayers during service.
Scripture Reader Supervisor
Read the week’s Old Testament and Epistle scripture during service.
Usher
Guide each row to join in communion.
Sunday Spark, Lead and Assistant Teacher Roles
Educating the next generation about God's Word is one of the most impactful contributions we can make. Joining the Sunday Spark team does not require a commitment every Sunday. If you are uncertain about teaching, we encourage you to volunteer as an observer in our classes. Age groups we teach include: K-4th grade 5-8th grade
Media Team
Help us tell the story of what God is doing at Vine & Branches! Opportunities exist for videography, photography, social media and more at Sunday Services and other gatherings and events.

Childcare volunteers show Jesus’ love and make a difference in the lives of our youngest members! You do not need to commit to every Sunday.
